For real?
Believe it or not, many people use a spare pillow or tug a piece of blanket up to their head to cover their ear while they sleep. If you’re not a side sleeper, you probably have no idea what this means. If you are one of the lucky few gifted with the ability to quickly fall asleep any time, any where, you might be thinking this is bizarre. Okay, so it might be a little bizarre, but start asking around. You will be surprised by the number of your friends and family who find comfort, and sleep better, by putting something over the side of their head while they sleep. If you have, you’ll understand right away. You’ll know that fighting with a bed pillow can be frustrating. It is either too big and falls into your face or too small and doesn’t stay put. If you are a blanket devotee, you often find yourself fussing to find just the right blanket position that covers your ear, but doesn’t uncover some other part of you. The struggle is real!
Yes, we know… Zzzease isn’t for everyone. And, we know there are many of you who are reading this and thinking, “Why didn’t I think of that?” No worries, we’ve got the side-sleeper sleep conundrum solved. Now, you can get out there after a good night of sleep, feeling energized, happy and creative and solve another one of life’s problems. Go ahead, get out there… the rest of us are counting on you!
What shape is Zzzease?
Zzzease is kind-of an oval. Or maybe like a bean. It is shaped like the profile of your head. Perhaps someday soon the shape will simply be known as Zzzease (that would be cool, eh?).
Where do I put it?
Zzzease is designed for side sleepers. So when lying on your side with your head on your bed pillow, you gently lay Zzzease on the side of your head facing the ceiling. You basically are making a sandwich out of your head. Bed pillow + your head + Zzzease = good night sleep!
Will it slide off my head?
Most of us move during the night, so yes, Zzzease is likely to slip off of your head at some point. Most people don’t even notice when it does. If you happen to wake up at some point during the night, you can feel around to find your Zzzease and put it back in place. You’ll be zzzeasing again soon!
Who is Zzzease for?
Zzzease is for adults only! It is not made for kids and should never, ever be given to anyone under 12 years of age. Keep your Zzzease safely away from infants and children so as not to impede their breathing during sleep.
How do I take care of my Zzzease?
The cover of your Zzzease can be hand-washed in cool water with a gentle soap. Hang to dry. The Zzzease insert should only be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. A good dose of sun-bathing 2 or 3 times a year (up to 30 minutes per side) may do your Zzzease insert some good and freshen it up a bit.
Can I heat and cool my Zzzease?
A cool Zzzease feels great if you have a headache. Simply place Zzzease into a plastic bag and put into the freezer. For a warm Zzzease (great for colds and stuffy noses), heat Zzzease in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, until warm – no more than 2 minutes. Do not overheat!
What is Zzzease made of?
We are using 100% organic fabric and stuffing for Zzzease. We believe that each of us have aresponsibility to the environment and using organic fabric and seeds help keep unnecessary chemicals out of the soil used to grow our fabrics and seeds. Zzzease covers will come in different fabrics (i.e., cotton, hemp, fleece, flannel, silk) but will always and forever be 100% organic. When we source fabric from outside the US, it meets Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). We are also using non-GMO, organic whole buckwheat seeds for our fillings. Yes, earth, Zzzease loves you.
Where is Zzzease made?
Zzzease™ is a trademark of Cybercise®, Inc. a privately-held Maryland corporation. As we begin, Zzzease is being hand-made at home in Baltimore. As we grow, our goal is to establish a production facility in Baltimore City to help bring good jobs doing good in the world to Charm City.
How much does Zzzease weigh?
Standard Zzzease weighs 2 pounds. We have in the works a travel version of Zzzease that will weigh in at 1 pound. We pack light. Stay tuned!
Can I get a new cover?
We will be making and selling covers separately very soon. You might even want a nice fleece or flannel cover for winter and a cool silk or percale version for the warmer months.
Can I put essential oils on Zzzease?
We do not recommend using essential oils on Zzzease as they will seep into the buckwheat seeds and be impossible to remove. We are working on creating small packs of organic herbs that can be placed inside your Zzzease for aromatherapy. The Zzzease herbal packs will be sold separately soon (finding the very best organic sources takes time – thanks for your patience!).
